Sarah is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Since 2004 she has worked with populations ranging from homeless and incarcerated individuals to members of the general public in her outpatient private practice. She especially enjoys working with clients who have a history of trauma and in helping people thrive with ADHD.
She is a trauma informed clinician who is invested in helping her clients build resiliency and to empower themselves to live vital, fulfilling lives. “People shouldn’t be afraid to be in the world. I love helping them heal from the past and step into the future with confidence.”
Sarah had more than a decade of experience of helping clients process and heal from trauma when she took her first IMPACT class. “It was a fundamentally transformative experience. It opened my eyes to how important the somatic experience is to the healing process. I knew I had to continue being part of this work.”
Sarah recharges her batteries by spending time with animals. She has owned a horse for fifteen years and spends her free time riding, grooming, and spoiling her horse as much as possible.
